Hello Class of 2021!
I hope you are doing well as you finish your last year in high school!!! If you are in the process of completing your Senior Portfolio, please continue to work hard. Be sure to contact our School Counselor, Mrs. Lopez to review your transition plan to your adult life and as soon as your teacher approves your portfolio, please contact our School Secretary, Mrs. Schiavone to schedule your exit interview. All of the portfolios have been wonderful so far!
If you are interested in attending college or a trade/technical school next year, please consider completing a VvHS scholarship application to offset costs.. Contact our School Counselor, Mrs. Lopez to get the form. It is an easy application. The deadline is extended to this Friday, May 14.
Last day to place an online order for the cap & gown and senior memorabilia is this Friday, May 14. After Friday, all orders must be placed in person at Scott's Graduation located at 711 W 17th Street , Costa Mesa. Also, you may contact Mrs. Schiavone for a VvHS loaner cap and gown. We do not have the 2021 tassel so you need to order one. We gladly will accept your cap & gown as a donation after the graduation ceremony. Sometimes, students are interested in personalizing their cap. Just remember your decorations need to be appropriate for the ceremony. Be creative!
Senior Send Off Days are Tuesday, June 8 through Thursday, June 10 at VvHS from 12:30 to 2:30. You will pick up your cap & gown, the Class of 2021 lawn/door sign and a "swag" bag. For students who were selected by their teachers to receive a Golden Eagle Award you will receive your certificate and the few students who are recognized For Getting Their ACT Together will receive a VvHS medallion to wear at graduation. Remember to wear your mask on campus.
The last day to submit assignments for our seniors is Friday, June 11. Please check with your teachers to confirm that all assignments are complete.
Graduation is Wednesday, June 16 at VvHS. Please see flyer posted in Parent Square or on the VvHS website (vvhs.info) with all of the details.
