Happenings at Valley Vista
This is Ro, a new-ish Valley student, with her Blackout Poems. She started the project in Mrs. Atkinson's senior English class, then collaborated with Mrs. Rich to further her work. It sparked conversations with other classmates about the masks we present to the world, and what is really going on inside ourselves... powerful stuff! Thanks to Ro for sharing her work, Mrs. Rich for being all-around rad, and Jacob Gutierrez for jumping on board to take some pics and share them out.
