Hello to our Juniors, their parents/guardians and VvHS staff

A junior who is interested in returning to the home school for Fall 2021 must meet the eligibility requirements and complete an application. In order to be eligible you must have completed 170 credits by the start of the fall semester and that includes credits earned in summer school, all makeup credits are finished AND complete an application. Hello to our juniors, their parents and the VvHS staff. We are offering make-up credits in English, math and social studies. Classes are in person, lab style and variable credit. VvHS has a special summer schedule, different from the traditional high schools. The VvHS schedule is 4 hours (8:45 - 12:45), 4 days (Tuesday through Friday) and 4 weeks (June 22 to July 16). Hello to our VvHS families and staff Our juniors are scheduled to take the state assessment, SBAC for English on Monday, May 3 and Math on Monday, May 10. We have a special schedule to accommodate the test administration for both Mondays. ALL students , juniors and seniors will log in to their 1st period class at 8:45 and remain in class for 9 minutes while the teacher takes attendance and gives an assignment. Students will follow the same process as for period 1 for periods 2 through 5. At the conclusion of 5th period seniors and juniors who previously opted out will log out of 5th period and to continue to work on assignments from their period 1-5 teachers. Juniors taking the SBAC remain in 5th period and will receive directions for taking the test from their 5th period teacher. Continue.......
